Because the hotel was not yet open, our crew was able to work efficiently and complete the project without traffic interference, ensuring precise measurements and a professional finish ready for opening day.

BEFORE AND AFTER

2 PHASE PROJECT

PHASE 1: LAYOUT, MEASURING & CHALKING

We began with a full site walk through to understand the lot dimensions, entrances, and traffic patterns. Our crew then measured the entire parking area and chalked the new layout, carefully marking stall locations. This step ensures everything is properly spaced, aligned, and ready for paint before any striping begins.

PHASE 2: STRIPING & PAVEMENT MARKINGS

Once the layout was confirmed, we striped all standard parking stalls and pavement markings following the chalked layout. This phase focused on accurately transferring the approved layout onto the pavement, creating a clear and functional parking configuration for vehicles and pedestrians.

PROJECT SUMMARY

This project involved completing a full parking lot layout and striping for a newly constructed hotel property. Our team measured the entire lot, chalked a new layout, and striped all standard parking stalls and traffic markings to prepare the site for opening.

On the morning of the project, the customer requested a change in paint color. We adjusted the plan and swapped paint colors at 8:00 a.m. to meet their preference without delaying the schedule.

During the layout process, we identified an issue with the ADA parking configuration. Rather than proceeding and risking non compliance, the decision was made to pause ADA striping until the site engineer could confirm final changes. This coordination helped prevent future corrections and ensured the project stayed aligned with federal ADA requirements. The result was a properly laid out parking lot that is ready for final approvals and opening once ADA details are confirmed.
